Our founder began formal music education at Yamaha Music School at the age of four, starting on the keyboard before picking up piano, violin, clarinet and drums. From class recitals to regional and international stages, he has performed across the country and represented Malaysia in showcases in Singapore and Japan — including the Junior Original Concert in Osaka for a UNICEF charity event, and a performance in Singapore where the guest of honour was the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew.
That grounding in real musicianship, not just showmanship, is what MDT has built on since 1996 — starting with a single pianist at a Shah Alam hotel and growing into a full entertainment provider trusted by some of Malaysia’s best-known names.
Our journey
28 years on stage
1996
MDT begins operation, supplying a solo pianist to a hotel in Shah Alam.
2008
Grows into a full band roster, performing for weddings, hotels and corporate events across the Klang Valley.
2026
A pool of freelance musicians from orchestras including the National Symphony Orchestra and the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, performing classical, traditional, pop, rock, country, jazz and oldies for homes, hotels and resorts nationwide.
